The importance of visuals in presentations
I chose the word visuals because it captures the essence of Chapter 6 and much of the book's message. Visuals, when used effectively, enhance presentations by engaging the audience and supporting the message. While overusing visuals can overstimulate or distract users, intentional and purposeful visuals are far superior to text-heavy slides. They serve as an aid, allowing the audience to focus on the presentation rather than being overwhelmed by dense information. To be effective, visuals should always relate directly to the content being presented, complementing the message without overpowering it.
